vegas - day 2 and 3

so mikey is a hungover fool and we didn't get out of the hotel til 11am. no big deal. we were playing it by ear. we decide to walk down the strip just to see what's what. we get across the street from the fashion mall and we get acosted by shaye, the condo pusher. at the time, we didn't know what the scam was but in retrospect, it was a scam! all the people that seem real nice and ask you where you are from? they are gonna scam you! he gave us tickets to la cage and some gambling money and a bunch of other shit and all we had to do what go and listen to this presentation at the roayal for an hour. well, 3 hours later we finally bust free! i won't go into the hell of it, but it was hot and there was horrible kareoke and i was about to pass out. shaye met us outside and said he would take us down to new york new york (after hitting on us!) and we finally made it down there around 4pm. we ate some pizza and walked around and then went over to the excaliber to get out THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER tickets for tuesday night. we agreed to then go back to the hotel and clean up and go to la cage that night and then go to a club for dancing. la cage was great (the guy that was celine dion was frightening!) wand we had some pics taken. we went back to the room and were going to rest for a couple of hours because it was only 9pm. but we fell asleep. yeah, we are party animals!
day 3
we got up and out around 11am again and went EVERYWHERE! my favorite was cesars palace. it was beautiful! we walked around for awhile and mikey got her pic taken with n'sync. not the real n'sync - one of those places that puts you in the pic! it was so cool! then we had our pic taken with elvis. and went to FAO and madame truseaus. that was so much fun! she got her pic taken with the pres and brad pitt and joe montana and i got mine taken with jon bon jovi (yum) and buffy and brad. then we raced back to the hotel to clean up and get back to the excaliber to see THNUDER. we caught a cab with this guy and he ended up paying for it! (too cool) and we were first in line! after waiting forever to get in , we got our seats front and center and drooled over all the guys when they finally got the show started! if you don't know, the THUNDER FORM DOWN UNDER is a troupe of totally HOT australian guys that strip. yum! (go to www.thunderfromdownunder.com)after the show, we had our pics taken with the guys and got autographs. then we went over to studio 54. can i tell you what a let down THAT was? we waited in line for 45 minutes only to get into a crowded club with a bunch of ugly tourists that don't know how to dance. mickey was the best dancer there without a doubt. she danced for an hour and got all sweaty and then we headed back to the riviara. we too k the trolley. cold but fun.
i will finish up our last day tomorrow. the thunder show was the best part - i think we both are in agreement about that!
