advice for the college grad

- ok.
so i had a little phone altercation just now.
with a guy named alex. and i'll use his real name cause i really don't see this going anywhere.
so he calls me looking for a check. cause i get lots of checks. and i deposit them. this is one i happened to remember cause it was for $32k and i had to hunt down where it needed to go cause the company sending it didn't include any remittance. he is all how did you get it and how does he get his money back? what? it's not your money and what the hell are you talking about?????
anyway, i am not going to go into all of it cause i don't want everyone to know how stupid some college grads are but...
he called party girl (not the person i told him to call)and was all boohoo-y to her and she called me and told me everything he said. like that i am "a character". little shit. i told her that he shouldn't be arguing with me cause he had probably only been here 2 months.
well, guess what? he's 22 and has only worked here two months. i am sure this is his first job.
so, some advise to all you college grads. when you start a new job, don't argue with ANYONE. take notes, listen and then go back to your cube and go back over what has just said and then ask questions.
i say this because i have seen lots of you guys come and go. you get frustrated cause people think you are stupid. well, keep you mouth shut and don't prove us right.
