- i must rant.
about the "playas".
or whatever you guys want to call yourselves.
and mostly this is for all the girls that are getting played. i have been reading diaries and it seems to be rampant these days.
WBF is a playa. don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy. maybe too nice.
he and his girl have been broken up for six months now. but they continue to: date, sleep together, talk on the phone and basically depend on each other. they have yet to go 2 weeks with no contact. now she wants to get back together but he has rediscovered his player-ness and is hesitant. although he still keeps her hanging around.
meanwhile....he is seeing 2 new women. one pretty hard core this past week, the other he has been seeing on and off the past two months. i pointed out to him that valentine's day was a week from saturday and the way he is playing, he was going to have a problem because both girls were going to expect to spend time with him on that day. to which he said he would be spending it with his ex if with anyone.
ok.
at that point i walked out of his office.
i don't mind the playa. as long as he is up front with everyone involved. there are no rules that say you can only see one person at a time. but don't let people think you are after them and them alone.
not only are you doing them a disservice, you are hurting yourself also.
this goes also for the guys that still live with wives or girlfriends and start new relationships while still holding on to the old one(s) for some bullshit reason.
this includes guys that can respect that a woman has her own life and doesn't need to spend every waking moment living for you. and she is not a bitch if she doesn't drop everything when you call.
this also includes the guy(s) that think the whole "i am not available" thing works on women. it might on some, but not on me. games suck and i, for one, don't play.
so that's my rant. i don't hate the playa i hate the game. not just this game but all games. i don't even play trivial pursuit with my family. why would i play any other game with someone i barely know?
oh, and someone did bring some donuts.
