easter with nick and jess

- i hope everyone had a nice easter.
here in north texas? it was freaking COLD! and raining.
i picked up a white mocha before heading over to the bro's house. that got me nice and warmed up.
i got to play with the baby. he's 9 months now. and the fact that my dad turns into a barking monkey to amuse the child, well, that's hillarious!
oh, and before i forget, i tried this new low carb pizza from blue moon and it's really pretty good. i'll be buying it.
i managed to burn the crap out of the back of my hand while pulling it out of the oven. that was nice. it didn't blister (thank you aloe vera) but it's a nice kind of crispy reddish brown. pretty.
anyway, today is my bro's birthday. so we had cake yesterday. and my mom made a fabulous orange chocolate swirl cheesecake. and my bro got some gifts.
the best part was the barking monkey.

my review of "the nick and jessica variety hour"!
now, i am old, and i used to love watching "sonny and cher" and "donnie and marie"....
and, for the most part, N&J was kinda funny. (i really liked it when nick took off his shirt. he needs to do that more often) but what i couldn't stand? when jessica sang. what the hell? when did she start having all those tics? i must have never seen her since "live" before. i don't remember her doing all that crap with her hands and i won't even talk about the fact that she can swallow nicks head whole in that giant mouth. i loved MR T and the mickey mantle thing. i guess i liked the skits but not so much watching HER.
