rock the vote

2004-10-13 - 10:06 p.m.

i watched the whole thing. ok, almost. i missed a couple of questions when i jumped in the shower.

but i got out of it what i hoped.

kerry talked about women and what effects me. i don't remember bush saying much about women at all except that i can't do with my body what i want.

bush skimmed over the fact that with the loss of jobs even more americans don't have healthcare. as a diabetic that uses my healthare plan, that frightens me. i can't imagine if i was self employed or worked for a small company and didn't have healthcare.

bush seemed as bumbling as ever. studdering. at least he didn't make up any words this time.

kerry had a couple of moments but (to me at least) came across as the more composed.

but i guess i am probably biased at this point. i have never been a fan of the bush family. i didn't like the first one and i don't like this one either. the best part of that family is barbara.

the last thing i want to say - get your ass out there and vote. i don't care for who (ok, i do but i am not going to go on about that) but vote. not just for president but for your representives and for the other issues on the ballot where you are. i know i am looking forward to bringing the cowboys to arlington AND voting for a new president!
