election day

i did.
just a few comments.
it's 2004 people! when are we going to move into the modern comuper age and stop using the old guy/voter registration book/sign here method? i mean please! can they not figure out how to swipe your drivers license and use a palm print or something?
but it only took about 45 minutes. not too bad.
also, i was checking out the ages/races and all that because it's supposed to be a big deal. not so much in arlington, TX. my polling place, which i hear was one of the busier, had plenty of minorities voting. including the toothless white trashy kind. what did suprise me was that out of abotu 200 people that were there whan i was, only about 12 were 18-30 year olds. not that i know for sure, but that's what it looked like to me.
so much for p diddy's 20M choose or lose vote or die thing. maybe young whipper snappers vote later in the day?
and that cold front that the weather men have been threatening us with finanlly got here in time for election day. it's snowing in the pan handle. maybe the republican's have figured out how to control the weather? it's a balmy 58 here in big D today. misting rain. no big deal for me and my ponytail. and i got a new fleece jacket a couple of weeks ago so i am good.
i know this is a little rambling. i haev a bunch to do today. so i will get on with that.
