- long week for everyone.
i am disturbed by the katrina aftermath and yet i am sick of the news. the city has been inundated with new homeless. they have pretty pink bracelets on so you can tell them apart from the old homeless. hey, mayor miller!?! that shelter you have been talking about for the past 3 years woulda really come in handy about now. better than the convention center and old reunion arena. i guess at least people have a place to go.
party girl gave me a cabinet thing tonight and it's in my hallway and is now the home of porn. it's got other shit in in too but all my porn is now housed in the bottom part behind some other stuff.
i am pretty much unpacked. i have 4 boxes i need to go thru that have old china and misc shit in them that i need to put in bins. i want nothing in boxes. and mom and dad are coming over monday to help me hang pictures.
then i just need to hang on for awhile til i have some money. for a desk. and a 6 foot folding screen thing to camo the bins i have stacked in my living room. but all is good. i have enough cash (i think) to last the two weeks until next payday.
speaking of the lack of cash - i got a letter (bill) from my old apartment complex. says i owe them $100. what's the general rule? do i pay? they kept my $150 deposit and say i had $100 of damage. (????) i swear i paid a $300 pet deposit. i think i will call the bank and see if i can find a copy of that check. then, bitches, YOU owe ME money!

does anyone love kathy griffin like i do? next week is the last episode of her d-list show and i will be sad. she makes me laugh out loud. party girl doesn't get it. she must not pay attention.
oh, and one more question. for those of you that live "in the city" (any city will do) are the bottom of your feet always black? i swear, my feet are never clean anymore. i wear shoes! i shower! sometimes twice a day! but still my feet are freakin' BLACK! i am going for a pedi tomorrow and they are going to have to do some major scrubbing.
