- so. well.
hmmmmm
today is our work thanksgiving lunch. the dude that works for me made candied bacon. i had never heard of this treat but a treat it is! bacon and brown sugar cooked in the oven. it's tastes like when you have bacon with your pancakes and syrup gets on the bacon? yummy! and so bad for you!
i made cupcakes in my little, tiny oven. with sprinkles. they are excellent!
mom and i have planned our family dinner to include two of rachel ray's "thanksgiving in 60" recipes. the stuffin' muffins and the three potato grat things. they both look great and got 5 stars on the food net's web site. so cross you fingers. we needed easy since mom is not off on wednesday. she started her new job last week so as long as she gets the turkey in and going, the rest of the meal will only take a couple of hours of combined prep and cooking. we are the bomb.
