did everyone ccatch up on their TV last night so we can discuss? good!
"24" - holy crap! this was getting kind of boring but the whole hostage trade off/somebody's got to die plot is sucking me back in.
"smallville" - this show just keeps getting better. naked tom welling doesn't hurt, either! (ok, tom in little red boxer briefs. but they were wet!) i hate lionel luther. love lex. that character just keeps getting better. loved that there was no pete. i can't wait to see how this season will end.
"angel" - i am sure i will cry when this show ends for good. not kidding people! even tho i think david's head is getting fatter with each episode. fat as in "all the weight i gain is in my huge noggin" not that he has a big ego. he might but i was talking "fat head". anyway. love the ilusia character. much more interesing than fred ever was.
"OC" - kinda boring except they were in vegas. i love the vegas. and the drunken cat fight. and the strippers (male)
"extreme makeover" - this was a good one. two totally fucked up people. one - 21 yr old male virgin. and we could all see why. grill, totally fucked up. acne. skinny as a post. and did they make him into tom cruise? no. he was made into a very nice looking young man that should have no problems getting laid.
victim #2 - a 25 yr old mother of 2 (!!!) with no front teeth and some serious old-lady-i-had-two-kids body. she looked 50 people! and they made her into a nice looking 25 year old woman. not drop dead gorgeous, but attractive.
all in all? a fabulous night of TV.
i missed "south park" because i can never remember when it's on.

one last thing.
last night on the news, the lead story was about a murder/suicide. an old man just diagnosed with cancer (6 months to live) killed his invalid wife then shot himself. normally, this would just be another sad story for me. but the woman had been living this past 18 months in the nursing facility i worked at my last two years high school. they showed a woman looking out of the doorway. i know i can't have known her - all those folks i knew have got to be dead - but it still tugged at my heart.
